Ioffer a range of services to help elderly people downsize, relocate or stay in their own home, in Baildon and the surrounding areas. I provide practical and emotional support for older people and their families; taking the stress out of moving to a new home, or advice and adaptations to help you stay put. I provide a seamless service which covers all aspects of the moving process but allows the customer and their family to remain in control. My service, with its emphasis on forward planning, aims to reduce the stress and anxiety that such a big upheaval can cause. This enables the customer to focus on any aspect of the moving process which they may enjoy, for example, choosing new furnishings.

I'm a West Yorkshire born housing professional based in Baildon, with over 20 years social housing experience. I set up Moving House Planner when I realised that many elderly people didn't have access to the knowledge and services they needed to plan their move, whether downsizing or selling. Moving House Planner can offer moving solutions which include sheltered housing, leasehold housing and moving into a care home. I worked for 10 years at Headrow Housing which specialised in leasehold management. I project managed and set up Headrow Housing's first Retirement Village in Sheffield and so I am expertly placed to offer advice on leasehold schemes for the elderly. My experience is that estate agents are often not familiar with the complexities of leasehold service charges. Having worked across West Yorkshire and Manchester, I have extensive local knowledge of housing schemes in these areas. I have also built up a network of connections with housing providers for the elderly, care homes and retirement villages.
