Moving House Planner is working with  a new section of for younger people.

What is a  stroke
It is a brain attack. It happens when the blood supply to part of your brain is cut off.
Blood carries essential nutrients and oxygen to your brain. Without blood your brain cells can be damaged or die. This damage can have different effects, depending on where it happens in your brain.
A stroke can affect the way your body works as well as how you think, feel and communicate.

You can be a stroke survivor at many different ages , however your needs might be different at different ages. For example as a a younger stroke survivor you might be keen to get back in the workplace and want some advice on how the benefits system can assist with that. A new group has started up run by Jeff Rinder, who is a Stroke survivor himself, the Different Strokes meetings are held at the Little House , Market Street , Bingley.

The next meeting is the 16th of January 2017 at 11am. As the  group is recently formed it is a drop in event with health professionals, carers and  younger survivors
